The Goddess of not-getting-a-sauce-stain-because-of-course-they-serve spaghetti-on-the-ONE-day-you-wear-something-white. She's a seemingly nominal but heavily worshiped goddess.
I read the first thirty pages a little over six months ago. Didn't really get into it, unfortunately. I normally like Neil Gaiman. I actually did this for a contest for some club that has yet to recognize me as a member.
One of my friends, who that couching girl is very unsuccessfully modeled after, always wears white on the same day the dining hall serves spaghetti. Always. She also always complains about it.
And I understand about the book; it took me a couple of tries to get through the first four or so chapters, but if you can stick to it, the book is very amazing, I cannot express how amazing!
Oh, how whimsical! I am usually a devotee of her sister, the goddess of 'lease let me find two blacks that match as I'm running late and don't want to look silly'.

I pray to this goddess every time I eat something with sauce.
